Course structure
A 100% online course, accessible at any time, to follow at your own pace. Available on an intuitive and easy-to-use platform, it includes 2 key modules with explanatory videos and practical exercises, totalling over 3h30 of content.
Module 1 — Understand: Aeronautical knowledge (16 videos)
A professional pilot teaches you the fundamentals of aeronautical knowledge to understand how a commercial aircraft works and rationalise the anxieties associated with this mode of transport:
- Take-off, landing, turbulence…
- Aviation safety and in-flight protocols.
- How a commercial flight operates and the role of the crew.
Module 2 — Learn: Psychology (7 videos + 3 exercises)
This module, co-designed by a psychologist qualified in cognitive behavioural therapies, helps you identify the mechanisms behind your fear of flying and teaches you strategies to regain control over your anxiety:
- Cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT).
- Breathing exercises and cardiac coherence.
- Strategies for managing anticipatory anxiety and intrusive thoughts.
After the course: Putting what you have learned into practice
Gradual exposure is essential to overcoming a fear of flying. We recommend completing this course in the month before your flight to consolidate what you have learned and fly with confidence.
